Crossing Paths

From Punta Laguna to Laguna Chabela: Remote Paths, Real Connections

From Punta Laguna to Laguna Chabela: Remote Paths, Real Connections

Follow jungle trails, paddle across a quiet lagoon, swim in a cenote, and glide through the treetops on a zipline , all while being welcomed by those who call this place home.

This experience takes you from the reserve of Punta Laguna, where local guides help you spot howler and spider monkeys, to the nearby community of Laguna Chabela. There, a Mayan family opens their doors to share their melipona bees, traditional farming, and a meal made with heart.

Far from the crowds, you’ll find something deeper: connection, care, and stories rooted in the land.

It’s the kind of journey we believe in at Crossing Paths  where nature and people meet with purpose.

Tucked deep in the jungle of Quintana Roo, this experience takes you beyond the usual paths and into the daily life of those who live in this land.

At Punta Laguna, walk jungle trails in search of howler and spider monkeys, cross the lagoon by canoe, glide over the trees on a zipline, and swim in a clear cenote, all guided by locals who have protected this reserve for generations.
Then, we continue to Laguna Chabela, a small off-the-map village where a local Mayan family welcomes you into their world. You'll learn about traditional farming, visit their melipona beehives, and share a homemade meal prepared with ingredients from their land.

It’s a peaceful journey, far from the crowds and a chance to cross paths with people and places that remind us of what really matters, where time slows down and every detail feels just right.
